17.07.23 • On May 12th we celebrated the inauguration event of our new building in Zamudio together with colleagues from all over SEW-Spain and some Customers and Suppliers who came to share this exciting moment.

SEW's original headquarters in Spain was built in 1998 at its current location in the Bizkaia Technology Park, and in 2010 saw its assembly plant extended by 1,000 m². In 2022, the office building has been completely transformed to become more modern, functional and sustainable and to provide even better customer service.

At SEW EURODRIVE we are committed to improving the efficiency of our products, the use of renewable energies and the promotion of recycling as an essential step towards a sustainable circular economy. But we do not only apply these principles to our products: solar panels, a new air conditioning system, a new ventilated façade with curtain wall, sensor-regulated lighting and water... all of this to achieve an intelligent, cutting-edge structure that respects the environment and sustainability.

It should be noted that the new 100KW photovoltaic plant for self-consumption installed on the roof of the building has been supported by funds from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union - NextGenerationEU.
