The main objective of these training courses is to provide your maintenance team with a solid and practical knowledge of SEW products at a mechanical level. You will discover the different types and operation of a geared motor, the different executions and designations, as well as the importance of lubrication and the use of our digital tools to access all our product information.

  • SEW gearmotors (types and nameplate reading)

  • Lubrication: importance, quantities, replacement. Types of lubrication failures

  • Seals: function, types, assembly, storage.

  • Sealing caps

  • Bearings: mounting, adjustments, preloads, types.

  • Input and output elements. Assembly and alignment.

  • Torsion arms. Mounting.

  • Assembly of hollow shaft and shrink ring gearboxes. Coupling types. TorqLoc.

  • Assembly and disassembly process of gearboxes.
